Napa Valley, California (February 26, 2013) – Wallaby Yogurt Company, a family-owned producer of organic yogurt, announces the launch of Wallaby Organic Greek Nonfat Yogurt. After its wildly successful introduction of Greek lowfat yogurts in 2012, Wallaby expands its Greek yogurt offerings to include a nonfat variety.

"When we launched our first line of Greek yogurts last year, we had no idea how popular it was going to be," said Kathy Housman, national sales manager for Wallaby. "Even though there were already a lot of competitors in the category, there weren't any offering a Greek yogurt that was organic and had the unique creaminess that Wallaby is known for. This became even more apparent after we launched and our sales went through the roof in the first quarter."

Having perfected its Greek yogurt recipe, Wallaby now plans to capture an even larger share of the Greek yogurt market with its new line of Organic Greek Nonfat Yogurt. According to Housman, nonfat yogurts represent the largest segment of competitors' Greek yogurt sales in the Natural Channel. Targeting the nonfat segment was the natural next step for Wallaby.

Wallaby Organic Greek Nonfat Yogurt provides calorie-conscious consumers with a satisfying, protein-rich snack or meal substitute. All Wallaby Organic Greek yogurts are strained, which is the authentic way of producing the thick, rich texture that has made Greek yogurt so popular. Wallaby also uses its traditional slow-cooking method to create the delightful creaminess and delicate flavor of its Greek yogurt, making it worthy of the Wallaby Organic label.

Wallaby Organic Greek Nonfat Yogurt is available in a variety of flavors and sizes. Its 5.3oz flavored varieties feature a unique two-compartment cup, allowing consumers to control the amount of flavor they get with each spoonful of thick and creamy yogurt. Flavor pairings include Lemon, Mixed Berries, Peach, and Raspberry. Traditional plain yogurt is also offered in 6oz, 16oz, and 32oz sizes. The line is now available nationwide in Whole Foods Market. 5.3oz and 6oz sizes are priced at id="mce_marker".99; the 16oz size retails for $3.99 and the 32oz for $6.99.

Just picked up Lowfat with Honey and Lowfat with Cherries. I love that the flavors are separated so that I can choose my sweetness and I have to say, it's my favorite yogurt I've EVER tried. Obsessed. yum

Love love love your Greek yogurt. I drive 10 miles to whole foods to purchase it at least twice a week. My favorite is the cherry. And blueberry. I'm obsessed! Thanks wallaby for a great product. Hope you sell it to other grocery stores!

Hooray! Yesterday, I spent 10 minutes at Berkeley Bowl looking for an organic Greek yogurt and finally found yours (the only one). I normally eat your other fruit yogurts and love them but wanted to find a Greek yogurt because of the high protein value (23 g). Thank you for this product. I bought the plain and added agave syrup for sweetener because of the low glycemic index. Yum! Have you considered using agave as a sweetener in your yogurts? Keep up the good work! You have the best flavors on the market; especially love Cherry, Key Lime and Peach.

Your organic Greek strawberry yogurt is the BEST! I go crazy when I can't find it at the local health food store! I hope to start seeing it at other grocery stores as it is definitely the best tasting yogurt I've ever had. Keep up the good work.
