Introducing… Wallaby Organic Greek

Authentic Strained Lowfat Yogurt

Introducing… Wallaby Organic Greek

It's the start of a new year, and one that we here at Wallaby have eagerly been awaiting. That's because we're kicking off 2012 with the launch of one of our most exciting product lines yet – Wallaby Organic Greek yogurt!

For a while we've known that we wanted to make a Greek-style yogurt. Our desire became clearer after our founders spent a weekend trying every brand of Greek yogurt that they could get their hands on. When they were done, they ultimately came to the conclusion that there just weren't any organic Greek yogurts out there that really tasted great. This discovery was reminiscent of how Wallaby got its start. It was over 20 years ago that our founders travelled to Australia, where they tried a style of yogurt that was unmatched by any of the yogurts back home. When they returned, they were genuinely inspired. Their mission became to make the best-tasting yogurt in the US. And that's what they did when they created our signature line of Australian-style yogurts.

It's in continuing with this mission that we now proudly introduce our new line of organic Greek lowfat yogurts. We think you'll find our Greek to be exceptional for the same reason that all Wallaby Organic products are exceptional. We start with the highest quality organic ingredients. We then develop the body of our yogurt authentically and naturally, without the use of starches or other artificial thickeners. Our Greek yogurt is strained, which is the authentic way of producing the thick, rich texture that has made Greek yogurt so popular. We then use our traditional slow-cooking method to create the delightful creaminess and delicate flavor that makes our Greek yogurt worthy of the Wallaby Organic label. To top it off, we've packaged our flavored varieties in a unique two-compartment cup, allowing you to control how much fruit you get with each satiating spoonful of thick and creamy yogurt.

We're more than excited to start off this New Year with a brand new yogurt, and we hope that you will be too! Throughout the month of January, Wallaby Organic Greek lowfat yogurts will be hitting the shelves at Whole Foods. Look for them there soon. And while you're visiting our website, click here to get a first look at our entire new line!

THIS Is the most amazing Greek Yogurt on the market. Just tried it from Whole Foods in Fresno. I will empty that shelf each time I am in there. I love your yogurt but this one is over the top wonderful.

My 4 and 6 year olds only ask for Wallaby yogurt (as do I). They love the vanilla - I can't get them to eat anything but the "kangaroo yogurt". Thank you for such a great product!

The cherry flavor Greek yogurt is INSANELY delicious. I felt like I was eating cherry cheesecake. Absolutely outstanding product... A little pricier than other yogurts in general but very worth it for a treat. Can't wait to try the other flavors!

Leslie, we're sorry to hear that you've had a hard time finding our Australian-style Lowfat Banana Vanilla at your local HEB. One thing you could do is speak to the Dairy Manager at the store, and let them know that you want to see more on the shelves. Another option would be to use our store locator to find other stores near you: http://wallabyyogurt.com/wheres-wallaby/store-locator. We list phone numbers for each store, so you could call ahead to see if they carry your preferred flavors. We know that the Whole Foods Sugar Land, Woodway and Bellaire stores carry the Banana Vanilla. We hope that helps!

I have been a big fan of Greek Yogurt for a while now and I have to say this has been the best kind I have ever tried. When I found this in Whole Foods, Palo Alto I was overjoyed as I had tried other Wallaby products and was a big fan. Like other commentators I too emptied the whole isle and got pretty bad looks from the store guys :) But, I'm glad that I did. Keep the good yogurt coming in guys!
